I draw on my journalistic training and passion for creative design to deliver compelling, human-centered communications products for clients in academia, technology, media, and the arts.

But wait. What even is ‘communication design? It’s a field that brings together graphic design with strategic storytelling to find the most impactful medium through which to share your campaign. For some clients, there is a clear form in mind, but if you’re not sure what medium that is, don’t worry, I’m here to help.

If you’re looking for a creative partner ready to tackle any elements of your project from research to creation to the after action report, you’re in the right place.

Editorial Design

I specialise in working with start-ups, companies, and individuals to create print and digital products that are clear, imaginative, and purpose-driven. Working across all aspects of editorial design from proof-reading to print-ready I’m passionate about the possibilities of this form for reaching your audiences.

  • The American University of Paris is a global liberal arts university offering an american education in the heart of europe.

For over seven years now, I’ve worked with them on multi-touchpoint communications ranging from digital ads and infographics to brochures and annual reports.

One of my first design clients, this ongoing work with AUP helped bring into focus the core mission of my studio: to create engaging and functional design that puts purpose-driven content at the center.

Brand

Whether building a new brand or helping to craft a sub-brand for a new initiative or project, I’ll work closely with you to develop a visual identity and accompanying system that your team can carry forward.

  • Photo|Frome is an independent festival of photography dedicated to showcasing and celebrating all levels of photographic endeavour from local, national, and international photographers.

As the only major UK photography festival not based in a metropolitan area—but with ambitions to reach a global audience—developing the brand offered a unique challenge and opportunity.

Working with the founders from day one, I set out to deliver an identity that was serious without being elitist; accessible but not small town. Something channeling simplicity and confidence.

Since its founding in 2022, the festival has grown rapidly as a destination for thought-provoking national and international work, and a place to showcase the history and ongoing work of regional photographers.

Along with the festival, our visual identity has continued to evolve, and has played a pivotal role in securing over £50,000 in Arts Council grants and our growing audience of 6,000 visitors in year one to over 20,000 in 2025.

Content Strategy

I thrive on translating your big idea into a tangible, effective strategy across platforms and mediums. Every project begins with a conversation and research, allowing me to really understand your goals and develop a clear plan to achieve them.

  • Joining early-stage Saas startup Greener, I delivered a brand awareness campaign to increase their visibility and grow their community ahead of a fundraising round.

Based on user insights, research, and internal conversations, I optimised their online platforms including: redesigning the website to increase user conversion 100%; introducing a new thought-leadership blog and managing all editorial output; working with the team to increase media appearances and package award submissions; and delivering a comprehensive social media strategy to highlight their services and position them as thought-leaders in the sustainability for SMEs space.

This work contributed to a peak quarterly user growth rate of 33%, our CEO receiving a substantial grant as part of LinkedIn’s inaugural creator’s program in the UK, and a press release being picked up in 62 countries with a total of 2.6m readers. On social media, our followers on Instagram more than doubled, while on LinkedIn followers grew 423%.

Event Design

Events are a unique chance to showcase your brand across internal and external audiences. From pre-event communications to on the ground collateral I’m here to help deliver the material you need to make the most of this moment.

  • The Narrative Matters Conference in May 2025 brought more than 330 participants from 37 countries to Paris for three days of symposiums, discussion, and events around the theme of “Disparate Narrative Worlds.”

In line with brand guidelines, I created a distinct visual identity and translated it across a full-suite of collateral including digital assets, posters, merchandise, space branding opportunities (screens, roll-up banners, signage) and event program.

Let’s work together.
